Hi, Mike.
Use the fill-a-tube-with-water trick. Put a known amount of water in
a graduated, clear container. Add the "mystery mix" up to the top.
Shake well. If there is no alcohol in the gas, the line between gas and
water will be at the amount of water you started with. Any alcohol in
the gas will absorb the water, and the line will show LESS water.
This is a well known test, and you should get specifics from the
Ercoupers and any other flyer list.
