Hi all, it must be the knee replacement season , bakelite that is, I have a 415 w/o the zierk fitting what can I do there are no holes for it Ilooked at another coupe on the field that has them and always wondered where mine were - just Ain't none- my right has a fair amount of lateral play so I odered the kit from Skyport- is it a big deal to do? how does the grease get inside ? also one of the coupers stopped off at a Wisc airport and fueled up he had about 10 gals left so he topped off , flew to lunch at another local eatery and on his run up on depature he had a 200 rpm drop each mag he got it to
clear where he felt safe enough to fly the 18 miles home he got back fine drained some fuel into a mason jar and it looked fine at first then, it got cloudy and the bottom of the jar what appeared to be green algae the smell of the fuel wasn't right either. just another note.. the airport has it's jet fuel right next to the 100ll could this be a mix of the worst kind and, cloudy ,what could that be ? any ideas on this one - his engine now runs lousy BTW the airport did send their mechanic out to see what it was his contention is that it isn't the fuel this happened only after his top off. he doesn't have a computer so I'll relay the groups thoughts on this issue . thanx all i'm sure we'll figure this out dennis 99564 for 94827
