I have an Alon, so of course it came with rudder peddles. I don't use them all that much except for take-off and a bit on landing. I haven't flown a
coupe without peddles, but if I didn't have them I wouldn't add them. The Alon does not slip like a C-150 even with peddles; you can get a little slip, but generally its just best to have a good approach and not need to slip. Without the peddles you gets lots more leg room and can haul longer passengers. Ken Doyle
