Is the Ercoupe a "classic?"
Good question. Since it is a pre-WWII design, with 112 off the assembly
line before it shut down, it could be considered such. But it served in
that conflict, so I consider it as much of a war bird as the other
L-series.
Then it could be Contemporary, because it was produced 1946 and forward.
This is a real head scratcher, and I'm not sure that the EAA even knows.
