As a side note... The Raven was a must see. The only privately owned aerobatic aircraft with a higher thrust to weight ratio. He would pull to the vertical, and when the crowd said "STOP" he would just hang there for a sec and then pour the coals to her and continue straight up. During OSH he wanted to break the "time to climb" time. If he did is still news to me?!?!
During the flight back home from OSH to AUW(Wausau,WI) Me and Arden K. in 26H and Syd and Brandon in 1niner6 took off in formation, and did the entire departure thing. When we turned back to a general north heading 26H was lead and 1niner6 was at our 5 o'clock when we spotted 6 white smoke trails doing a fly-by of OSH, when they pulled up we saw blue birds on the under side of these planes in a delta formation. Then it hit us, we were in the air with the Thunderbirds. Yes THE Thunderbirds with F-16's. 4miles off our left wing. The best thing ever in my life(well, almost, 'Coupes are the first ;-) I could go on for ever with stories, but I'm scared I'll put you to sleep. Thanks for listening.
