I primered the inside of mine. It won't stop the intergranular corrosion. My Cherokee had this, talk about missing up a day! I pulled a gas tank to replace a fuel line and found it. However, I believe that it will prevent surface corrosion. This is just my belief and is not supported by any scientific data or studies on rats. (Off topic - If you don't want rats in the wings then why do Swiss Cheese ads. Does this not sound like a oxidation moron or is it just my blond roots.)<g> I used Sherwin Williams "Self Etching Primer" It is made for alum. and is available in quarts, gallons and spray cans. I also treated the wing with Corrosion X. Just insurance and it give you a warm feeling. Jack
