Roger, Your out of luck. Nobody here has opinions, just facts! <g>
Methinks your gonna' be a dog between 3 or more hydrants before it's over. It seems you are looking to move up to a moving map, eh? Well, I love my Lowrance Airmap 300... hydrant #3. Gimmee the intuitive nature of the beast AND.... Gimmee the bigger display with high pixel count and the reasonable cost of updates. One can easily exceed the cost of the unit if you update every 25 days or whatever. Lowrance uses a plugin chip for upgrades including obstruction database... $81.50 with UPS shipping included. (Did I hear a 'gulp'?) A Garmin upgrade is $115/125? and you need a PC. Your bound to like all of these winners if you can't find your way to the bathroom now, like yours truly. Good luck in your misery, fellow traveler! <g> Bob Urban - 99784 +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Roger Hartwell wrote: > > Hi Everyone > > I know it's not really specific to Ercoupe's, but I wanted to ask the > group's opinions on GPS units.
