Gary:  I think you'll find that the answer to both questions is "no"!!
The
Metal wings are heavier, reducing your useful load, and creating some
other
less desirable handling characteristics, and a greater possibility of
corrosion.  The rudder kit only gives you 5 degrees of rudder.  In this
man's opinion, the two control, fabric winged ercoupe is the "funnest" to
fly.  Others may give you more specifics, but I think you'll find the
above
generally true. Good luck in your hunt,  There are a couple of "C" models
with stc'd alon mods available in the Fort Wayne In. area at around
15-17K,
and in the 3000 TTAF Call 219-489-5518, Which is Bowman Aviation at Smith
Field.  These planes are posted on their board.  One of these is 0-200
powered, the other, C-85.
