Ed,
Dave, is right on the tred mill... just a tred mill isn't enough for a
clear
picture of your heart.... passing a tred mill almost cost me my life. two
weeks
later was in hospital fighting for my life... reason for passing the
test....I
was very active and walked a lot.

To really rule out the heart... you need to have a either a tred mill with
elco
gram done.

Or asked your doctor for the lazy mans tred mill test done at the
hospital, it
is a thallium, test it consists of two parts of different medicines...

It will take pictures of all the vessels while at rest and then after more
medicine it will take pictures of the same vessels at stress levels to the
tune
of a 5 mile run... the two sets of pictures, will rule out once and for
all what
is going on with the heart, and valves. after about 20 mins from last set
of
pictures it will then take a set at rest to see if there are any changes.

Good luck... the FAA may not require this much of a test but does give one
a
very good since of well being.
