There is a company called Headsets Inc which makes a kit to convert about any headset to an ANR (Active Noise Reduction) for roughly $169. I converted mine and it makes a big difference. It cuts down the low frequency rumble that causes fatigue, etc. they have a web page at www.headsetsinc.com check'em out. BTW the offer a 30 day risk free warranty if you are not satisfied. Bose doesn't offer that.
