To whomever posted the april fools joke letter: I forwarded the "april fool's" letter to my congressman, thank you very much, about the bar codes. Whoever posted the joke needs to grow up. April fools jokes are for children. Since I take the forum seriously, and am very defensive about our rights and privledges, I am very disappointed that someone would post this joke to one who would take it seriously, me.
I also attached my own letter to the e-mail I forwarded, and asked him to vote against user fees. All pilots and owners should contact their congressman and senators and not just complain to each other. Those who said that electronic media has the potential to receive inaccurate, unedited, and unfiltered information has just been proven correct. I have just been a victim of such and am very very disappointed that someone would do such a thing as knowingly post false information. That is exactly what it is, knowingly posting incorrect information. It wasn't a joke to me.
