Got this from a friend about insurance.

Has anyone else seen this?

Does anyone know if there will be problems, not with Y2K - insurance?

Just got a "Year 2000 Notice" from Great American Insurance Company
(AOPA Insurance Agency). My policy is set to renew April 9, 1999.

"If your policy is renewed with us, your renewal policy will be modified
to exclude or limit coverage for loss caused by the inability or failure
of a computer, or of computerized or other electronic equipment, to
properly recognize a particular date or time for:

    * The Year 2000 and Beyond

    * The change of Date from August 21, 1999 to August 22, 1999 (GPS
System) and/or

    * Any Other Change of Year, Date or Time

If you have any questions, please contact your agent."

Its good to know AOPA is looking out for its members.

I heard the proposed simplified tax form will only have two lines: Line
1. How much did you earn? Line 2. Send it in.

The new proposed insurance contract only needs one. "No matter what
happens coverage is excluded"
