Tom, that's terrific!  If you have the space and don't mind administering the site, let's do the 337s, STCs, ADs, SBs, etc. together!  It seems to me that you are building the perfect forum for what I have been feebly attempting in my quick and dirty site.  I'm giving myself an HTML crash course, and I hope to soon be quasi-HTML-literate.  Once I am up to speed on converting data from scans, books, and files, I would be very interested in collaborating:  If you would assign me items that are lacking,  I will be happy to do some grunt work with conversions, and then upload the finished work to your specifications for publishing on ercoupers.com.  In such a way, the site I (re)envisioned can come into being, and I'll have more time to spend with my new Coupe!  If it will be productive, I am willing to keep building and cleaning up the maintenance data I'm working on at http://members.xoom.com/N3719H/Ercoupe.htm , until you either link it or incorporate it.  If the result could be made searchable by model, serial numbers, date, etc with your expertise, I know that many would find it useful.

Subject: RE: Coupe Maintenance & Mods

I agree with this, and actually, Rob is doing something I'm actively in the process of building a web page www.ercoupers.com (I've already bought the domain name) which will have:

a. complete SEARCHABLE coupers mailing list archives
b. automatic upload of 337 images into web pages with ability to delete your own postings
c. automatic upload of pilot info and images into web pages with ability to delete your own postings.
d. web interface to coupers mailinglist

Now, the only really unique thing I'm bringing to the table is archive of the coupers mailing list...but Robert, I really am probably just days away from having the automated posting stuff up and running.

I'm all for sharing of the responsibilities...Are you guys interested?

Dave, you've got pilot forum stuff, but there is no way to update or delete old postings, and so you've gotten quite crufty in the data that you have.

I've got the coupers archives, and once it's set up, it will be automatic.

So that leaves the 337, STC, and ADs. Should I hold off on creating my 337 database forum?
