For my own use, this site is where I am organizing information regarding Coupe care& feeding, along with all mods I may reasonably contemplate on my plane (a 415-C) - She's my first plane, and I'm a little smitten ; )
I'm happy to include Alon, Forney, and Mooney data. If any of y'all want to contribute, I would appreciate especially info on STCs and 337s that aren't through Univair, TCM, McCauley, and Sensenich: Those I mostly have, and I'm in the process of formatting those for the site. Any electronic format to my email address is fine. If you prefer fax, let me know and I'll set that up. Most useful data would include a description of the mod, STC holder contacts, cost, man-hours, recommended shops/mechanics, and satisfaction reports. Be advised if an opinion is very negative, I won't post it... I'd rather avoid feather-ruffling (or worse). If it appears any info is some "trade secret", I also don't want it. STC or 337 duplicates have sometimes been construed as some kind of commercial release, but that is not the case. An original hard-copy document from the holder is the only legal title to a proprietary mod. I also would like to build a database of squawks and remedies, so reports of that nature are welcome. It's likely to evolve rather slowly, because I have a fairly busy schedule flight instructing. If you notice that I'm duplicating someone else's effort anywhere on the site, I'd like to know, so that I can simply post a link or reference.
