My coupe has a small venturi on both sides just forward and below the
windows.
I have an artificial horizon, DG and a turn indicator.  I sometimes wonder
if
I really need that stuff.  I rarely look at it, except the DG, and only
fly
VFR.  And since someone suggested that if you want to lose a little
altitude
on approach, just stick your arm out the window - how much drag are these
two
venturis causing.  Maybe someday I'll get careless enough to fly into
weather
and be glad I have some instruments.  Wayne N3544H.
