thought I'd put this out to the group another couper who had a question
about his winter oil temp
actually year round his oil temp barely gets past 100 so he had his
probe and the guage replaced did the test on the new one and the old one
and found them to be close 10 degrees or so but opted to put in the new
one anyway His engine has the metal shroud in front of the oil sump
which I thought would help heating alittle he also
put on the trusty winterization kit but the temps aren't warm enough.
any
thoughts on this it is cold in Ill and Wis

oh, one more thought, do you think that covering the cylinders a little
more would help (experiment with the duct tape method) you all in the
warmer climates aren't missing the storms we are having here in the
midwest are you we could send some of the cold to you or send some snow
(get the drift) ha,ha

thax for the help

his is a 48 split elevator
with a 250 or so hrs on it
thanx dennis 99564
