I don't know about that, but just reading an EMAIL won't cause 
any programs to run and do any damage, at least for now.  I don't
blame the original poster of the warning here though, because how 
do you know these days?

Web pages are a different story, unfortunately.  With Java and
the like, you never know.  At least with a Web page you know where you're 
getting the problem from.

I would forward those messages too if I didn't already know about them.  
As a matter of fact, I think I'm guilty of forwarding the 
cookie recipe a couple of times a few years back.  How would you know? :-)

I've been wanting to post that virus message for a long time, but it 
didn't have anything to do with Ercoupes, so I resisted.  But I knew
someday the topic would come up.  The FAQ sites are interesting to read.
 
On Ercoupes, I just got a new flatbed scanner and am replacing
the small pictures on the web page with larger ones that are still 
only about 50K or so.

The M-10 is now flying again :-)  Just in time to be due for the 
annual :-(
