In fact, from the homepage of mb2md (http://batleth.sapienti-sat.org/projects/mb2md/), it appears that this program can handle my "special" case as well - but both imapcopy and imapsync look appealing as well since I'll have to know the passwords anyway. I'll try all three solutions.
