I cannot find sufficient documentation to tell me, so I will ask
here. I would like to see some additional information in my logs.
Specifically, imap and pop. I figured out how to increase the
logging for the login process (debug_login), but that is not really
what I am after. Ideally, I'd like to see the following kind of
information in the logs (any part of this is better than none):

1. When a user logs in via pop or imap, I'd like to see if they had
new mail and a count of how many new messages were delivered.

2. I would like to see login problems only. In other words, if a
user logs in with a bad password, I'd like to see the password they
tried to use, but don't want to see the passwords when the user
successfully logs in. As an ISP, this is very useful for
troubleshooting. Of all the things I'd like to see, this is
probably the most useful/critical.

3. I'd like to see pop logs that tell me if a user's connection
terminated abnormally and, if possible, what occurred. Again,
useful for troubleshooting.

4. Session stats tell me the total byte counts for various things,
but is there some documentation to explain what these stats are?

Some of this information is possible with courier-auth, and perhaps
that is a better place for it. Even so, there is not any
documentation that I could find relating to the log entries.
