I have an "working" 0.42.2 Courier inst. with several virtual domains. I would like my users authenticates every time they use my server to send mails (esmtp authentication) as they does when retrieve their mails, but everytime I activated the "Require authentication" setting in the Inbound ESMTP in webadmin, althought mail clients ask me for password for every account, no other mail server can send any mails to my server. The error they return is: "Diagnostic-Code: smtp;535 Authentication required". I didn�t see anything about this behaviour in the docs so obviously is a very "silly" problem but I�m in trouble... Thanks.
