I have libfam0 (v2.7.0-16.1) installed since 25 March this year,
curiously fam (v2.7.0-16) was removed back on 7 December 2009, yet I
don't have any dependency problems...
I don't have libgamin0 installed.

I re-installed FAM (v2.7.0-16.1) to see if my errors disappeared (and
restarted Courier-IMAP), but the errors are still there.
I installed libgamin0 (which required gamin, and removed both fam and
libfam0), and restarting Courier-IMAP (and courier-authdaemon to be on
the safe side), and problem is solved. :)

This would therefore seem to be a bug in the Debian packaging system...
