Would there be an "elevator pitch" or 30 second commercial of some kind that
I could use when trying to explain coworking? I seem to get so long winded,
because I want to tell them all the cool benefits of working with other like
minded professionals. But if you just have a few shorts moments, things seem
to get lost or left out. You know the "dang it, wish I would a said this or
that." After the fact. We are gathering speed of sorts here in St Cloud,
but get anxious as we need more interested parties to help spread the word.
Maybe it's more keywords to use. Collaboration. Community. Space. Shared
resources. Rubbing shoulders with others. Great coffee.

Subject: [Coworking] Introducing myself from San Diego, California

Howdy Co-workers,
Just thought I'd drop a note to introduce myself.

I'm Morgan Sully and I run programming, marketing and partnerships for a new
media Lab <http://macsddiy.posterous.com/> at Media Arts Center San Diego.

What I love is that it's in my neighborhood
<http://macsddiy.posterous.com/results-from-our-google-mapping-workshop-0>
(I live half a block from work), I get to work with friends (we're
partnering with a local FabLab) and I get to work on developing innovative
programing for the space:

*       Google Mapping Workshops
* Online Fundraising for Your Creative Projects
* New Media Show and Tells (part of the http://SHARE.dj global
network)

The Lab emphasizes learning and making through digital media.

We're in seed stages right now, but I'm really excited to solidify our
operations to make this a sustainable, collaborative resource for my
neighborhood.

Cheers from Golden Hill, San Diego,
Morgan
