We (The coIN Loft in Delaware) have tried free days. No one showed up.
However, when we couple it with our bi-weekly brainstorming event,
GUMBO!, we've rather consistently had 14-16 people come in. We've had
7 of these events but haven't converted as many people as we would
have liked. For that reason alone I think free days are a slipper
slope. You'll need more buy-in on the part of the person using the
space for that day or be very intentional (not in a pushy way) about
membership as the next step.
