Mark- We're a coworking space in a town of 10,000. We have 12-16 members
monthly (4 leased offices and 8-12 monthly mobile members). This can work
in smaller towns, but sometimes the model needs to be tweaked a bit to make
sense for your audience. Veel Hoeden, our space, has been stable since we
started Oct. 1, 2010, and we hope to bring on 4-6 more mobile members in the
next 3 months.

I wrote a brief piece on this a few months ago, but more specifically about
how to start a space in a small (rural) town. If you are interested you can
find it here. http://goo.gl/wbbaG

Subject: [Coworking] rural coworking spaces?

I've been enjoying my membership on this list for the last week or two,
and I am very interested in these types of spaces, despite never having
encountered one in person.

I'm interested in rural applications for the coworking concept. Are
there any rural coworking spaces to look at as models?

Cheers,
Mark
