Lots of great ideas here already! A few thoughts... For the Docking Station, we were thinking of doing a few things:
1. "Pick your coworkers" for national coworking day. Invite folks from out their homes, offices, etc to work at TDS with people that they "really like to" work with (hence, choose/pick your coworkers) 2. Invite the nonprofits into the conference space to explore the 'community of coworking' (we offer our conf. room free to non profits). 3. Do a brown bag session with community leaders that's based on the coworking values (we've adapted 6 for our space: collaboration, openness, community, localism, sustainability and accessiblity) but not exactly talking up coworking...rather, talk about how knowledge workers are the ;future economy' and use the values as a backdrop/tie into economic development. I'm sure that there's a ton more we can do. We're already planning for 8/9 and are going to make a pretty big day of it here.
