Greetings from DRISHTI! We are pleased to announce that DRISHTI is conducting its Fourth Central Learning Event for its Community Producers, Trainers and Coordinators from Community Radio and Community Video Units set up across the country. The event is scheduled in Ahmedabad from 19 to 23 December 2010 on Web streaming Community Media Content. The five-day training workshop is aimed at providing first hands-on experience and basic understanding of streaming technologies and streaming software’s. The community producers would upload their own productions and stream it LIVE!!! DRISHTI, a trust founded in 1993 believes that Community Media has the power to revolutionize grassroots’ struggles and to promote sustainable change. Therefore, DRISHTI is actively working to build a media of the people, for the people and by the people. To strengthen the Community Media Movement in the country, DRISHTI is facilitating the orientation of the first Community Media web-platform www.lokkatha.org in technical collaboration with NOMAD We welcome you to the inauguration of the website at Pleasure Club, Ahmedabad on 23rd December 2010 at 4 PM.
