Hi CREdit users,

I don't think that 16 tools are too less. I get along with only
two of them since I'm using makefiles. You can define your
makefile for each and every language and compiler. I have
set the tool (Make) to prompt for arguments, where I insert the
desired target within the corresponding makefile. It works great
for C, C++, Java and LaTeX as well as for my own programs.

The second tool I've choosen is the command interpreter of
Windows (NT 4.0) which executes any command for me. I de-
fined the tool the following way:

     c:\winnt\system32\cmd.exe /C

With Windows 9x the command is probably similar. I have set
CREdit to prompt for arguments. This argument is executed as
the appropriate command. I use cmd if I have to run a program
only once, so extending or creating a makefile would make no
sense.

             ,,,,,
           `(°~°)´ Best regards, David Hofmann
