Hi there,

Just installed cream and pressed "i" to start typing, and to my
surprise, an "i" appeared on the screen rather than going into insert
mode.

It appears that cream's input is notepad-like; I can't seem to use
vim's keybindings. Cream appears to have no concept of editing modes
the way Vim does.

I found a setting to make the behavior vim-like, but I need to reset
this attribute everytime I edit a document.

I don't understand -- how do I make cream behave like Vim permanently?

Thanks!
