Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think that the linked article writes about source code anywhere. The way I understood it, they just provide a license free-of-charge for non-commercial usage. In other words they would just provide the binary, not any source code. Also even though they might provide source code, this is always dangerous usage of non-FLOSS source code. If a piece of code in a FLOSS program ends up too close from a proprietary code, you might end up sued. And that's not even speaking about software patents on algorithms (which are not valid in Europe, but people tend to be careful anyway)...
