Thank you Mike for your comments. Personally I find that we (the collective Eclipse community) are very impacted by the current events - like so many people in the world. Eclipse projects have many active community members in Ukraine and Russia and that personal connection we have makes it hard to know what the correct approach to take regarding open source software. For now I err on the side of wanting to keep our communities open (both the code, but also the free flow of ideas).
