I've merged your PR (thanks) and just contributed a version 1.14.2rc1 of
GMF Runtime

which does not depend on Orbit anymore.

PS Reminder that for 2022-06 that Orbit will be dropping all the old
bundles that are not built with EBR from the git repo (i.e. the old
CVS generated p2 site will no longer be part of the Orbit recommended
