Jonah,
I believe that PDT is working toward PHP 8 support and will remove DLTK
dependencies as part of the process; I don't know the ETA though....
I'd recommend we let it go one more round given that PDT updates have a
much narrower impact.
I'll see if I can get PGP signing of features to work properly as a
workaround. Hopefully I'll get some help on that front. We shall see...
Regards,
Ed

As probably I'm the last person that has touched dltk, I have to
share that the chances for a rebuild are zero as it looks like
even the ci is gone https://ci.eclipse.org/dltk . Even if it was
there I wouldn't have time for it so if someone is interested to
keep it in please state so so I can nominate you to restart the
project or it should be removed from simrel.
I assume that this means the PHP package will be a problem, as IIRC
that is the package that contains DLTK components?

The last time simrel needed a change
<https://github.com/eclipse/pdt/issues/122> done on PDT it was done,
but the project was slow to respond. Unfortunately the PDT project
hasn't had a successful build since Dec 2021
<https://ci.eclipse.org/pdt/job/pdt-stable/>.
If I am reading simrel.aggran properly, DLTK has only PDT as dependent
and PDT isn't dependent on anything.
*Is it time to remove DLTK and PDT from SimRel? That means the Eclipse
IDE for PHP Developers package needs to be removed too.*
