FYI,

Folks are missing the fact that EPP exists and also has dependencies, as was the case with EMF Query.

E.g., the modeling product depends on EMF Forms.

https://github.com/eclipse-packaging/packages/blob/299614be47d5c7667f54f6403de40c0cb8419b4a/packages/org.eclipse.epp.package.modeling.product/epp.product#L259

That will need to be removed, like I needed to remove EMF Query today...

Your consumers can hope that what they consume from EMFForms continues to work in combination with everything else being released in lockstep.

Ed

Hi,

EMFForms and thus ECP will drop from the release train as we don’t have the resources to test the contribution as we would like to.

We will maintain our project p2 repositories, so EMFForms may be consumed from there.

There should be no effect on other projects. If we missed one please let us know so we can find a solution together.

Regards,
Eugen
