Hi Jose, The Speech Synthesis or Text to Speech(TTS) is heavily implemented on the Chrome browser side at least last time when I checked it. I worked on XWALK-1105 for a while to move TTS behind content api so that we could use it in Crosswalk. You can follow the progress of the same issue in Chromium here, https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=347045 I worked on several patches as you can see on above issue to help with that effort. But because of complicated nature of the work, other interdependencies and slow moving reviews I had to deprioritize that work. If you are really interested, you can comment and star above Chromium issue so that someone in Google can prioritize it. Or if you are really really interested and badly need it, you can jump into Chromium code and start coding to resolve that issue. :)
I don't know if you are using Cordova but if you are, then I see this Cordova plugin, https://github.com/vilic/cordova-plugin-tts which might help solve your problem.
