Agreed, it would be much easier to produce a newsletter on a regular
basis if we could get volunteers to maintain the different sections. Of
course, it would possibly require someone to whip the contributors into
submitting/updating their sections on time. My vote is for you to
head-up this project, you have done a great job so far and it would be
good to have a chief editor with a little less bias than myself ;) I am
not sure what others think, but I would be happy for you to have
complete editorial control.

Maybe year+month (0903) would be more suitable as it always increments?
month+year is fine until the year rolls over and we start again at 01.
