Hello, here are a few general questions on ECC use, not specifically on crypto++. If this is not the right place to ask such a question, I would be thankful if one can share a pointer to a better place.
Is there any good reason why ECC is not (commonly?) used with x509 certificates ? Are there reason to stay away of ECC for such type of applications (certificates) ? PKCS1 is described in the RFC with using RSA. What about ECC ?
