Still not clear about whats the status of any networking module integration
(RakNet, HawkNL etc.), if anyone working on anything or any concrete
plans,
I'd appreciate the info.

Well, I don't know if anyone else had concrete plans on this, but I do know
that my project (see my sig for the address) currently uses RakNet for
networking, and we have it working, more or less. We need to sit down and do
a giant overhaul, but it does work, and uses CEL as well. I think that we
might redesign it so that is a patch to CEL, and submit it to the CS/CEL
community. Our design plugin wise is pretty nice, we just need to use RakNet
a bit more efficiently.

As far as HawkNL, it's not been updated in a _very_ long time, and there's
currently a project called RaptorNL (run by some of the developers of my
project, and closely associated with us) that took HawkNL's code, and is in
the process of C++-ifying it, and in adding some missing functionality, and
all in all making it a much nicer networking Lib. The website is here:

As you can see, it's in heavy development currently, and could use some
extra hands to get it on it's way, and get it's first release done.
