Okay, since you probably didn't hear about that yet:
Music playback is most of the time "choppy", it appears as if small 
parts of each music track are missing in a regular density.

Though this doesn't happen all the time for me, but in 90 of 100 cases. 
Sometimes, the music is fine after waiting 5 seconds, sometimes it is 
fine after 50 seconds, and sometimes it never gets better.

This is the problem I, two friends of me and some people on the 
Planeshift forums have.
All appear to be using either old creativelibs cards or AC97 devices (as 
I do).

I have been searching the bug tracker too, and couldn't find anything 
about it... But since I have the same problem when playing Planeshift, I 
see this as CS related and write to the list.
