Happy to help, Prue -- as are all the other good folk who have contributed
to the leadership team and to Canterbury Software Inc over the past 12
months of our development :-)  It's always great to hear that it has been
of assistance!

Yes, do it, do it now! The tech directory is open for *all* Canterbury
organisations with an interest in the software industry. You don't have to
be a member to submit a listing (though, to be fair to our supporting
members, they get an extended entry :-).

> ?Do you have associate membership status?! Thank you for your guidance.

At the moment, our newly filed Constitution has just the one membership
status, that of individual. We did debate having an institutional one, but
figured Canterbury Software is all about encouraging personal
relationships and networking amongst our community, and we wanted to
ensure that that remained our focus.

We've tried to keep membership as low as possible ($50 is not too bad,
compared to many professional groups...), and have been lucky to have
support from government folk who appreciate our aims.

So the short answer is, no, we haven't got associate membership status.
But you are welcome to come along to the AGM (4.30pm, November 29, the
Canterbury Innovation Incubator in Manchester St), and propose it!

Cheers,
Vicki

P.S. And that URL for the extended Canterbury Software Tech Directory
listing is:  http://www.canterburysoftware.org.nz/directform.htm
Have you updated yet? Go on, do it now.
