I think that's a fine idea. It would be very easy to support an
optional "link to a PDF on your home site" field, provided it is used
by a significant number of members (so we get a consistency of
purpose and layout across most listings). Say so if y'all want it.

But even now, there's no obstacle to those extending their listings
to add a sentence which includes such a link to a PDF they are
hosting.  (The issue with hosting YOURSELF is simply ease of
maintenance -- you can change it at will without wondering whether
you updated a CS-hosted copy, etc).

More ideas and comments very welcome -- I'd expect the new committee
are looking for great utility, just so long as new features are

Good idea. We're happy to contribute to a workshop on that; we've
waded through all those areas for ourselves and clients in NZ and
overseas in recent years <g>.
