Hello folks,

Following on from yesterday's interesting seminar on cracking the US
market, it looks like many of us could improve our prospects locally and
internationally by figuring out ways we can work together to pool
resources, present a bigger "footprint" and get the critical mass needed
to bid for bigger projects.

So spend a couple of hours next Friday to see how people have tried this,
what has worked (or hasn't!), and find out what you need to think about
with regard to tax and legal aspects of working together.

Details of the Canterbury Software workshop:
March 7, from 3.30pm
Canterbury Innovation Incubator, 200 Armagh Street, Christchurch.
Members $25, non-members $35

The Effusion Group have been through the collaboration hurdles, and we'll
hear from Dave Lane (Egressive) and Richard Waid (iOpen) about what they
have learned.

Even if you're not planning on doing this sort of thing straight away,
it's worth getting practical pointers for when the opportunity does come
up.
