At the US marketing seminar yesterday, one point of interest was how is
the US economy looking, and what are the market conditions.

So it's good timing that Kevin Roberts has just mentioned this in his
global community newsletter:

"2003: The Consumer Context", is Myra [Starks]'s current overview of the
US consumer market.  The 6000 word report is, as always, compelling for

It's consumer focused, rather than business per se, but is interesting
reading for anyone in or looking to be in the US market.

We talked about identifying pain as a marketing strategy, but maybe we
shuold add to that, overcoming the fear, uncertainty and distrust
factors...
