They are currently just speculating on what the reasons are just because
VALVe is so great at communication.

I'm in the server administering department in my community that reaches
into the 4 major FPS games Valve had running(TF2, DODS, CSS/CSGO) and we
used our tokens to migrate IPs but now our central account is banned. When
I originally searched for the plugin that caused this ban I came across the
knife plugin in our DISABLED folder. That is the ONLY thing we had on our
servers that were against the rules. But that's just it, it was ON our
servers. Not running.

Valve please communicate with us, I'm done with the games.
