So all banned servers have violated the rules as they are currently specified on the page?
They have not been banned because they were using custom content?

What is the verification process behind those bans? Does someone join the servers and take a look to verify? And while the api requests don't specify the reasons, are there accurate descriptions of the violations somewhere that you could publish?

While I understand that a lot of people with rightfully banned servers will take their chances and falsify information in the hopes of getting their tokens unbanned, there is currently no way to actually prove who is guilty and what they are guilty of.

clarification in that post made it seem that way (so we'll update that sentence).
Innovation is awesome and almost every mod we see is fine. Our only concern, as the
community correctly understands, is with mods that specifically misrepresent a
player's skill group/rank or the items they own."

No Steam user's ability to use GSLTs was stopped for anything other than failing to
comply with the restriction on "mods that specifically misrepresent a player's skill
group/rank or the items they own."

So... Did they cross it out because now it is okay to use custom models again?
I expect to see all the wrongfully banned servers reinstated again.

Incorrect, I run surf servers and they were banned.

Look at the clarification, they crossed it out. Imgur mirror for anyone who
needs it: http://i.imgur.com/D2EJiFC.jpg

So, I sent the devs an email almost 3 days ago, no response. How do I get
unbanned?

Surf servers didn't get banned because it was a surf server.

They got banned because they had custom knives (that didn't exist in the
CSGO Universe), custom models, and other reasons.

The surf gamemode is allowed.
