The question is not if it is a good thing to do, or the best way to do it. The fact alone that there are hosters out there that do it this way is problematic enough to discuss it, as it is a potential problem for innocent customers. All I'd like to have is some clarity on the banning scheme, I hope Valve can say something about it.
