BioAsia Young Minds Award-2010: Open to school children at +2 stage or below. 
The BioAsia Innovation Award-2010: Students/Scientists (either individual or in 
groups) working in any of the institute (academic/research/industry).

Federation of Asian Biotech Associations (FABA)  is organizing the Global Bio 
Business forum conference that aims to provide an interdisciplinary forum for 
discussing new approaches in the field of biotechnology, integrating innovative 
developments with engineering applications, and converting technologies into 
industrial products.The conference being held at Hyderabad , aims to provide an 
interdisciplinary forum for discussing new approaches in the field of 
biotechnology, integrating innovative developments with engineering 
applications, and converting technologies into industrial products. Plenary 
lectures will be focused on the following diverse areas of Biotechnology in 
three parallel tracks Viz. Medical Biotechnology, Agri Biotechnology and 
Biopharmaceuticals.Registration fee of the conference for students is Rs. 1500 
/- only . The forum during the conference presents two awards under Young minds 
and Innovations category. 

 

The Bio Asia Young Minds Award: Young students (school children at 10th, 11th 
and 12th standard), interested in submitting project works in any of the areas 
of Biotechnology / Life sciences including medical/Pharmaceutical technology, 
Bioinformatics, biomechanics and biomathematics, etc. are welcome to submit 
their proposals .Five among the best proposals received shall be invited to 
demonstrate their exhibits at the conference venue. One of the best projects 
shall be awarded `Bio Asia Young Minds Award – 2010' with Prize money of Rs. 
50, 000/-(US$ 1000.00).

 

The BioAsia Innovation Award-2009:Bio Asia 2010 invites proposals for Bio Asia 
Innovation Award – 2010 from young Scientist/Students (below the age of 35 
years as on 31 st Jan, 2010) pursing their research/studies in any of the areas 
of biotechnology/life sciences, including biomathematics and biomechanics etc., 
and who have created a product of applied value or generated a product of 
utility for the welfare of human society. It should be able to capture the eyes 
of entrepreneurs and attract venture capital investment. Ten best of the 
proposals of the innovators shall be invited to demonstrate their innovations 
at the conference venue in a cubical space of 2*2mtrs (free of cost) in the 
exhibition area
