Kristina, The HTML I posted is what I want it to look like. (minus the red borders, which are just to show the tables)
The 'left column' has to stretch to fill the space. The actual content, that's 750px wide, should always be centered, and the colours on the left adjusting to fill the space. That's the real challenge. If I could set it to be a specific size It's definately doable.
