Hey Lee,
Just try increasing your left padding for the list items:
li {
background-image: url(images/bullet_arrows_sm.gif);
background-repeat: no-repeat;
background-position: 0 .4em;
padding-left: 1.4em;
margin: 1em 27px;}
The 0.6em you have currently isn't enough to push the text out beyond
the bullet.
