Hey all - I'm hoping you can help me out with this. I just got a brand spankin' new site to work on today - again this is someone else designing, and I code the layout from the image they send me. I haven't started yet, so I'm clean as a whistle and prepared to take on any suggestions or ideas you might have for me on this one.
My issue is this: http://www.foolishvisions.com/test/test.gif This is the basic main content section of the layout design they sent me (I took out some unnecessary images and stuff). Now, initially, it looks to be no problem whatsoever for me - but then when I started breaking it apart, I noticed the border on this sucker is different than anything else I've seen - it fades in and out. Now, these three sections I plan to break up into separate div's, in case the end user has different fonts and sizes, it'll allow the divs to expand downwards and still keep the background color all nice and neat. However, this border is flabbergasting me. I was wondering if there's a way to set a border using a repeating image using CSS so I can get that fadein/fade out thing going - or if one of you all might have a better idea of how I could accomplish this effect using CSS (and not having to set the whole thing as one huge background image - which honestly, I'll make the borders solid before I do that!) The top and bottom is no issue - but the side ones are killing me - I'm at a loss as to what to do on this. *Any* suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated! I don't care how weird or off the wall they are - I'll try it. ~Shelly ______________________________________________________________________ css-discuss [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.css-discuss.org/mailman/listinfo/css-d IE7b2 testing hub -- http://css-discuss.incutio.com/?page=IE7 List wiki/FAQ -- http://css-discuss.incutio.com/ Supported by evolt.org -- http://www.evolt.org/help_support_evolt/
