There are also some good automated solutions, too - with gui-driven 
interfaces available in top web editors, such as Dreamweaver. Here's 
one we released recently:

There are others, from Webassist.com, for example. They are, however, 
commercial applications and should be weighed against the need for 
automation and features in a professional environment. For a personal 
site, a free, basic gallery might be all that's needed.
